This is the official Gazest demo site. Feel free to edit it anyway you want. Gazest is really good at undoing and merging conflicting edits so be sure to try opening two browser windows to simulate concurrent edits.
This is a demo site: you can make all sorts of funny edits. Most of the pages will be nuked or dissociated once in a while but if you cook something good, like the Montreal guide or the GNU Linux tip and tricks list, I'll make a reasonable effort to keep it alive.
The demo site is also the beta test: if you notice a bug, please report it. I'm working on the site navigations, there is link to upload yet but that doesn't mean you can't do it. The small brown fox.
What is Markdown. It is popular in web application where is enables users to do basic formating without giving them the full power of HTML, which could lead to security problems. An alternative is AsciiDoc, a markup just as readable but with a lot more bangs and whistles; AsciiDoc offers the full semantic power of DocBook without the ugliness of XML. Creole is another to look at. It only supports the very basics (it is truly light weight), but it does that very well as every aspect of it's design seems to have been very well thought out.
